I’ve never personally used a MagicJack, and now this gadget plans to make cellphone fees disappear, but how? The article goes on to say that MagicJack for cellphones is intended to hijack a cell towers frequency and routes the phone call through a broadband connection.

Touch Screen Phones for All: Palm Pre, DROID, & Cliq

Whether you have Sprint, Verizon, or T-Mobile there is a touch screen smartphone waiting for you and your social networking needs this Christmas. Justgeekstuff.com will introduce you to one smartphone for each network including the Palm Pre for Sprint, Verizon’s Motorola DROID (with a new Google OS), and Motorola Cliq for the T-Mobile network (also with a new Google OS).

The three touchscreen phones that I provide in this article are Capacitive Touchscreen, which means that the screen generates a tiny current on the surface of the screen. When the current is broken by your finger or stylus, the position of the broken current is located, thus manipulating the interface. Why is this more desirable? Because capacitive touchscreens are usually glass and touchscreens that are not capacitive are plastic and give a little to detect touch. Capacitive touchscreens can also detect when you put the phone to your face which will disable the screen and prevent your cheek from pressing any buttons. One new phone coming out is the Blackberry Storm II, which doesn’t have capacitive touchscreen, therefore, did not make the cut to my article.
